Hoganson Holidays

There seems to be so many blogable moments in the Hoganson family so I decided to start a blog. I am not sure just how often I will actually post on here, but I'll give it a go and see what happens.
A new year has begun. The Hoganson Family brought in the new year feeling ill in one way or another. We have been one huge petry dish of yuckies. First, Gavin and Dad had pink eye and a typical cold. Annie had a cold, then dual Ear infections which lead to both of them rupturing. The rounds of antibiotics made her super fussy and just ill feeling. Then she contracted ring worm from who knows where to top it off. Annie and I then came down with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) which kept us both down for a long while. John's cold lead to Bronchitis. My RSV lead to Viral Pnemonia, (bleck) Then our Poor Annie got worse with her RSV too. We were SO worried. At times she just wheezed short breaths and was a terrible Blueish Grey color. To finish it all off Dad had the stomach flu and the Gavin caought another cold. I cannot say how many trips we made to urgent care in a 2 month time frame, but I pray we never need to do it again. John and I are exausting in everyway.
To keep from sharing our lovely germs we have stayed quarrentined for several weeks before anyone could come over to visit or lend a helping hand. We have just ventured out in public in the last week or so. Annie went back to school this week, not really 100% yet but, she is feeling better none the less.
Right before we were at our worst, The Booy family had their Christmas get together a bit early to beat the Holiday rush. We did make it to that, but the worst few weeks directly followed.
The Booy family is larger this year, I love it! Annie and cousin Ava are the newest additions. They are still young babies, but next year they will be walking. The family chaos just keeps growing. All the happy Chritsmas sounds that filled the house were just so charming. It truly warms the heart.
Christmas decorations never made it up at our house this year. It felt odd not having a tree or even a wreath. We never made the commitment to decorate, but after it was all said and done, I did miss it. We had our parent's decorations to look at and enjoy though.
